OPENING SPEECH BY ACTING PRESIDENT OF THE COURT OF APPEAL IN BELGRADE,

JUDGE DUSKO MILENKOVIC

Hello,

It is my honor, on behalf of the staff of the Court of Appeal in Belgrade, to welcome you to the first official presentation of the new court in the judicial network in Serbia.

This site was created as an expression of the tendency to through the presentation of organization, jurisdiction and position that this court has citizens make familiar with the right they are entitled to by law, as well as the ways to exercise them.

In order to make the work of the court more accesible to the citizens on the website of the court, besides information booklet, we publish statistical reports, decisions that the Department of the court practice stands out as significant for the work of the department, the publication of the court, the trial schedule in criminal matters, as well as statements regarding all decisions rendered in cases that sparked the interest of the public.

Court of Appeal in Belgrade is trying to organize their work in a way to provide Constitutional right of every citizen to a fair trial. Does it succeeds best on you know you that a right refers and therefore you invite to your questions, suggestion and criticism contribute to establishing he court trusted by citizens.

Path to justice is not always easy, but if we are allies in this way I am sure it is easier attainable.
